小熊和爱

我的朋友Doris是一个非常善良热心的人，常常赞助本地一些残障儿童的机构，我有辛和她一起组织资助残障人士观摩电影的活动，在她的影响下，也尽量尽自己所能多散发一些爱心．我也常和一些朋友让自己的孩子一起参加，如今的孩子生活舒适，没有什么机会明白另一个世界中的人的感受．让她们参与，得到学习的机会，同时也能早些开始了解究竟什么才是＂爱＂，记得曾经和自己的学生讨论过真爱的意义，很多的父母能给到孩子最基本的爱护，但却没有能让孩子明白，超越自我，为他人付出的爱的真谛．

同样在一次帮助残障人士的活动中，女儿晴晴在我的朋友mimi和她的两个儿子的帮助一起完成了一只小熊的制作，针脚不细，小熊的眼睛也有些要脱落的迹象，但是晴晴非常珍爱这只特别的小熊，因为她知道自己制作得来的不易，而且也了解到残障人士自己自足的艰辛．

为晴晴的相册中再增添一张＂爱心＂的记录，希望长大后的她会是个懂得爱和付出的人。

At Shabby last night, I used bear punch to make the tag, the sizzix to make the photo corner to add on the black and white photo. I was having trouble to keep the certificate on the sheet and one of the crop fren mentioned I could try to reduce its size... When I reached home, hubby took the picture of the cert and we printed it on a A6 mat photo paper, it turned to be great.

So I had it "locked" in the small locker, add on the letters made by sizzix side kick ( I really love it, more dies are coming from Tracy, I hope soon ).

And, more pictures from the grandama album, I am still working on the sheets , will update soon.

Finally, the album is done! Renee is the happiest coz she helped a lot, sticking, punching...

I used an old file, covered with blue thai silk ( mummy's favourite ), and stitched with ribbons ( there are some very "chinese pattern" ribbon in Hokko ).

Cut out the card stock and used as the inserts. I tried paper stitch this time, using the chipboard pattern. It's fun, will try some more soon.

Most of the pictures with mum and Renee were kept in my first scrapbook album. This time, I chose only a few pictures, but with both of them smiling and laughing.

A beautiful dream

Qin-ming is coming, soon.

There are two months in a year can make me really depress: April and October. And now, the first one is on the way. Even it's been more than 3 years, I have a feeling that mum is still around, while I am giggling with the girls, while I am reading and writing, while I am watching the girls play...

Just 2 days ago, after I bought something from Shabbychic, I went through all the pictures and realized that I wanted to make one album for Renee to put down all the pictures with her and mum in it. I spend almost the whole day, checking the pictures, drawing the layouts, finding the ribbons, flowers, and went to photo shop to pick up more pictures. Maybe because all of these, I was so busy and very tired at night, I felt asleep while I was putting Rafeeqa to bed... and something happened, mum came to my dream.

She was telling me how much she missed us, she's worried when dad caught flu, she's enjoyed when Rafeeqa started to walk, she's proud as Renee played music... She even brought some shoes for the girls coz I have been looking for shoes for the girls for the past few weeks, oh, mum just knew what kind to choose... Just as about I wanted to tell her that I love her ( this is one thing we usually do not do in our culture, i didn't get a chance to say this to her when she's till around ) Rafeeqa's cry woke me up. Mum is gone again, but I still have so much to tell her...

When I was a little girl, mum always told me that what you do, think in the day will appear in your dream at night, I always believe it and I still do, as I wish she will be back again in my dream, coz it's such a beautiful one...

我家的后面有一片小树林，饥饿和贪玩的猴子常常拜访。今天早上晴晴跑进我们的房间，告诉我有几只猴子又坐在邻居的屋顶上对着我们的芒果树虎视眈眈了。老公已经在家里准备了些小炮丈，因此很快地，那些猴子都吓跑了。其实在文莱生活了这么多年，这样的事经常有，我都习以为常了。而小孩子的好奇心却是天生的，她们常常都对小动物们充满了好奇心。有时候清晨，窗户外的小鸟会来啄啄我的窗，所以又让贻贻开心得不得了，连续几个早上都会自动地在5点左右睡醒，跑来我们的房间等小鸟, 而她的老爸老妈则被她开门摔门的声音吓醒，对于晚睡的我们真是种折磨。但眼看她们可爱的模样，你又能怎样呢？

虽然是两个小女孩，但是玩起来却一点也不文雅，我总是觉得女孩子要细致，可是老公却毫不理会，认为孩子还小，可以任其发展，所以常常在晚饭后，我即便是在楼下，也可以听到他们三个人在房里疯的声音。有一次，居然是在学猴子！看着他们的样子，真是又好笑又好气，把两个小孩子的照片洗出来之后，自然就想到了这首童谣：five little monkeys jumping on the bed... 过了几天就有这个作品。

A beautiful afternoon...

Maybe just feel the holiday is approaching, i started to relax. He...he he....

Came home very early today and 3 wonderful things happened:

(1) my mac mini finally arrived after 2 months;Oh oh, that made me miss my dad so much...

(2) an old friend came to visit and fell in love with my dog Paris too;

(3) after she left, i quickly ran to my room and now finished another LO for my little girl.

See, it is a beautiful afternoon, isn't it?

2 hours magic

After a crazy week, i finally sat down and did something.

When I picked up my ordered magazine from the bookstore and couldn't help to grab a few more. And, despited all the shouting, screaming my little girl made coz i promised to play with her on weekends, i sat in her room( to be with her is kind of "play with"her, right? ) stitching, sticking, cutting and a project was done!

Monster's Rock

God, it's been at least 3 months that i let those picutures lying all over on my desk. My elder girl started the complaint :"When are you going to finish those pictures?" Well, almost... I spent about 30 mins yesterday afternoon and almost there, i promise.

I really enjoyed the scrap night in Shabbychic last Friday, i finally finished a picture i took for Renee and she loved it.
