Mooncake Festival

My Kids love Mooncake Festival, I used to make snow skin mooncakes for them but this year the paste went out really fast, so we ended up with traditional ones from supermarket. Lighted up the lattern for them on the night, see they're happy to have a late night.

School celebrated the next day, all the kids in kindy dressed up, I felt that CNY was coming!!!

By the way,all my goodies arrived yesterday, I picked up 2 big boxes from the post office! Enough for me to work on this weekend ( we have 3 days off ).

Now, let me share with you a few layouts from Rafeeqa's first A-Z album.

F for friends: Naomi and me are best friends.

J for just smile: Yes,Baby, got a problem? Just smile.

N for natural beauty: What a natural beauty you are!

I had a good yet crazy time making the album, all 40 layouts were completed within 2 weeks.

First project kit from JBS

I just love Jenni Bowlin Studio. The paper, the colour ,the embelishment, the antique box just everything make me happy. Especially the silver bird this time, when i opened the parcel with Rafeeqa, she asked me" Mummy, can we keep the bird and the egg? When the egg will hatch?" I know the girls would take out the bird so i had to hide it until i started the work.

The bingo card's size is just nice to fit the photo in the middle: I love Renee's sort of into deep thinking, Rafeeqa is growing away too fast, me and Heng's been silly in my 2nd mother's day and of course, all of us in last year's school celebration night. Post two pics first, the rest will go to the 2 peas later this weekend.

The final look is wonderful too.

This month's JBS project's already on its way, I can't wait to play with it. Got a post office collection card in my hand, is it from here, or here, or maybe here? I will let you know tomorrow.

Swing

This is a last minute work before the deadline in Shabby. I thought green is not my usual color, but really love BG's sweepie, and after went thru my paper pile, decided on this, and with the beautiful frame got from here; swirl chipboard from Maya Road, distressed ink, also tried one more thing: printed journals.

" Look at a happy you, I know I'm truely blessed."

I'm glad I won the challenge and wish more to come.
